Recently, Robin Uthappa discussed the difficulties that Team India opener Shubman Gill would encounter upon his dengue recovery and potential return at the 2023 World Cup.
Gill was ruled out of the Men in Blue’s inaugural match in Chennai against Australia, and he will also be absent from Wednesday’s match in Delhi against Afghanistan.
Uthappa, who has already had dengue, said that after Gill recovers from the virus carried by mosquitoes, she might experience bone pain. At 5:23 in his most recent YouTube video, he stated:
“We are hoping he recovers quickly and returns to the team. However, it isn’t easy to make a comeback after suffering from dengue. I have gone through it myself, and it does get a bit difficult physically. We are hoping that it hasn’t affected his body a lot. When you recover from dengue, you experience some pain in your bones.” Robin Uthappa.
It is important to note that Shubman Gill remained in Chennai following the India-Australia match rather than traveling to Delhi with the team. According to recent sources, the child might take a plane to Ahmedabad, where he will continue his recuperation.
