World Cup 2023 Final will feature team India taking on the mighty Australia for the coveted trophy title at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, November 19. Both sides displayed stunning performances in the semi-finals and secured spots in the summit clash of the tournament.
In the second semi-final of the tournament in Kolkata, Australia led by Pat Cummins defeated South Africa by three wickets. Pat Cummins stated that Australia felt prepared to face the Men in Blue, who are undefeated in the competition.
Leading his side in a World Cup final against India, according to Cummins, is a unique experience. He went on to say that he never imagined he would compete in the World Cup final in India again.
“Few of us have played in a final before; a couple of other guys in a T20 World Cup final, the stadium, the biggest in the world, is going to be packed, mostly going to be one-sided. But it’s about embracing it,” Pat Cummins was quoted as saying by IndiaToday.
“It is going to be pretty special. 2015 World Cup was one of the highlights of my career, never thought I’d be here playing another World Cup final in India,” he added.
