Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the marquee tournament, brings back the iconic ‘Mauka Mauka’ campaign with an interesting twist.

The ad opens with a Pakistani fan entering his friend’s electronic store to purchase a television set for the upcoming T20 World Cup clash. The film continues with the concept of the Indian and Pakistani fans trying to get the better of each other.

India Pakistan to clash in T20s after five years

Indian team is set to take on their arch rivals Pakistan on 24th October at the Dubai International stadium. India and Pakistan haven’t faced each other in T20I since 2016. Last time both teams went head-to-head was in the group stage encounter in the T20 World Cup 2016 held in India.

Indian Cricket team haven’t lost to Pakistan in a World Cup clash, whether it’s 50-over or 20-over. In the T20 World Cup, India beat Pakistan twice in 2007 and once in the 2012, 2014 and 2016 edition of the mega event. Virat Kohli and Co. will be eager to continue their domination in this star-studded fixture which will also be the tournament opener for both teams.
