SunRisers Hyderabad(SRH) are set to face Chennai Super Kings(CSK) in the 46th match of the Indian Premier League(IPL) in the second clash of the doubleheader on Sunday, May 1 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.
Sunrisers have won 5 out of 8 matches in the tournament and are placed in the fourth position in the points table. They were defeated by Gujarat Titans in the previous match by 5 wickets. It was SRH’s first loss after winning five matches in a row. The Kane Williamson-led side has been fantastic with both bat and ball and they are likely to stick with the same playing XI for the upcoming fixture as well.
Chennai Super Kings:
On the other hand, CSK have won only 2 out of 8 matches and are placed in the second-last position in the points table. Ravindra Jadeja recently stepped down from his captaincy position in order to focus on his game and MS Dhoni will be replacing him. This might give an advantage to CSK in this match.
WAGING ODDS: SRH (1.90) VS CSK (1.90)
There are no favorites or underdogs in the contest and odds are even at 1.90, meaning if you bet ₹100 on them and if they win the match, you’ll be making ₹190
The last two games on the pitch have not been the easiest for the batters and both games have been low-scoring encounters. The dew factor might come into play later on in the game. There is a high possibility that SRH might clinch a win in the contest.
Prediction: SRH to win the match.
