Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans (GT) are set to make their much-awaited debuts in the Indian Premier League(IPL) as they will collide at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday, March 28.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)

Lucknow Super Giants are led by star player Lokesh Rahul. They did really well at the auction table and formed a balanced team. Overseas players Jason Holder, Kyle Mayers, and Marcus Stoinis will miss the initial matches due to national duties which is a major concern for the Giants, however, they still have enough bench strength to fill the void space.  They have the epic opening duo of KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock followed by the likes of Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya in the middle order.

Gujarat Titans (GT)

Hardik Pandya is set to make his captaincy debut in the IPL with Gujarat Titans. The ace spinner Rashid Khan and Shubman Gill are the marqee players for Titans. They will badly miss their opener Jason Roy who opted out of this year’s IPL citing bio-bubble issues and Afghanistan wicketkeeper batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz has been announced as his replacement. They are eyeing to make a huge impact in the first game of their IPL campaign.

WAGING ODDS: GT (1.70) VS LSG (2.15)

GT are the favorites and are priced at 1.70, meaning if you bet ₹100 on them and if they win the match, you’ll be making ₹170.

LSG are the underdogs and priced at 2.15, meaning if you bet ₹100 on them and if they win the match, you’ll be making ₹215.

Our Predictions:

Lucknow Super Giants have the edge by the looks of the team on paper. They are well-balanced with both the batting and bowling departments. But the unpredictability of what the sides have to offer makes the clash more enticing. But by the looks of it LSG are likely to get the win against Gujarat Titans.
