India will face West Indies in the third and final T20I of the three-match series on Sunday, February 20 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The home side has already sealed the series with consecutive victories and will be eyeing to clean sweep Windies similar to what they did in the ODI series.

India:

Rohit Sharma-led Team India had clean-swept Windies in the ODI series. They would be missing out on some regular started. The likes of Shreyas Iyer and Ruturaj Gaikwad are likely to get a game as the Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) has given former captain Virat Kohli and wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant a 10-day break.

While, in the absence of KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan has failed to impress at the top of the order and his place could be given to the talented Gaikwad, who has been warming the bench until now.Ravi Bishnoi’s performance has been quite impressive and he is one of the players to look out for.

India T20I Squad: Rohit Sharma (captain), Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, Surya Kumar Yadav, Venkatesh Iyer, Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Ravi Bishnoi, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Siraj, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Avesh Khan, Harshal Patel, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Deepak Hooda, Kuldeep Yadav and Harpreet Brar.

West Indies:

Speaking about West Indies, their batting has been poor in the series. They could not manage to resist the bowling offense of the hosts. They have been bundled out on multiple occasions in the ODI series. Kieron Pollard and Co. will need a collective effort to register their first win on the tour and avoid a whitewash.

Wicketkeeper-batter Pooran has been in terrific form, scoring a second successive half-century, and off-spinning all-rounder Roston Chase has been remarkable as well.

West Indies T20I Squad: Kieron Pollard (captain), Nicholas Pooran (vice-captain), Fabian Allen, Darren Bravo, Roston Chase, Sheldon Cottrell, Dominic Drakes, Jason Holder, Shai Hope, Akeal Hosein, Brandon King, Rovman Powell, Romario Shepherd, Odean Smith, Kyle Mayers, Hayden Walsh Jr.

Waging Odds: India (1.45) VS West Indies (2.70)

India is the favorite and is priced at 1.45 meaning if you bet ₹100 on them and if they win the match, you’ll be making ₹145.

On the other hand, West Indies are the underdogs and priced at 2.70 meaning if you bet ₹100 on them and if they win the match, you’ll be making ₹270.

Our Prediction:

Windies need to bounce back after facing consecutive defeats on the tour. Their lacklustre performances have kept them away from registering a single win. On the other hand India, who are the favorites would be striving to get the win to clean sweep the visitors.

Prediction: India to win the match.
