During the nets session, Glenn Maxwell, the star player for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, hilariously mimicked Virat Kohli’s hitting style. On March 22, Wednesday, the RCB team held its net practice at Chepauk Stadium in anticipation of the much-awaited season opener against the reigning champion Chennai Super Kings.

A special video of the same was broadcast on the IPL’s official social media account. While he was batting smoothly in the nets, Kohli appeared to be in beast mode. Having just returned from a break, he looked excellent as he unleashed a variety of strokes. Kohli unleashed his shots, from cover drives to down the ground and over the cover shots.

However, Maxwell was having some fun mode during the practice session as he was copying Kohli’s batting shots as well as his antics at the crease. Soon, Mohammed Siraj also joined Maxwell to imitate Kohli’s batting prowess.

However, Maxwell was stunned with Kohli’s batting, whose only focus was on the ball and didn’t bother to look at what was happening behind the wickets. The social media handle captioned the post, “Watch your back, Virat Kohli. RCB fans rate Glenn Maxwell’s Virat Kohli’s impression from 1-10.”
