Dinesh Karthik, the Indian cricketer, and wicket-keeper batsman, and his wife Dipika Pallikal who is a star squash player have been blessed with two baby boys. The couple took to social media to make the announcement.

Dinesh Karthik, who has been a part of the T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy-winning squad, took to Twitter to announce the news. He wrote, “And just like that 3 became 5.”
“Dipika and I have been blessed with two beautiful baby boys,” he added. Dinesh Karthik also revealed the name of his children, Kabir Pallikal Karthik, and Zian Pallikal Karthik. Karthik and Dipika had tied the knot in 2013.

From Commentator to IPL player to father
Dinesh Karthik has had a busy year. At the beginning of 2021, he led Tamil Nadu to win the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, the esteemed 20-over domestic competition in India. For the Indian England series in India, he was a part of the experts’ panel of Sky Sports. Then he was a part of Kolkata Knight Riders for the Indian leg of IPL which got postponed midway.
During India’s UK tour, Karthik took on a new role. He donned the commentary hat and wanted to break the stereotype that only retire players can do commentary. His role was appreciated by the cricket fraternity.
Then he went on to play the second leg of IPL. His team reached the finals but unfortunately couldn’t go over the line.
